Shreekara World Foundation

If you know Amanora Park Town in Hadapsar, you know it's a pretty big place. We are located at R2T71, flat 703, and it’s where we run the Shreekara World Foundation. Sheetal Palkar looks after things here. It’s a bit of a hike to get up to the seventh floor sometimes if the elevators are busy, but the view is decent. We aren't a big organization with a bunch of branches. It’s just this one spot. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or meeting people in the common areas of the township. It’s a modern place, but we try to keep things very simple and down-to-earth. We don't have a lot of rules about how things should look or sound. If something needs fixing or someone needs help, we just look into it. It’s mostly about community work around Hadapsar and the nearby areas. We started doing this because we had some extra time and wanted to be useful. It’s not a fancy setup at all. There are boxes of supplies in the corner and a few laptops on the dining table. We like it that way because it feels real. People from the building often drop by to ask questions or just to see what’s going on. We don’t have a big staff, just friends and neighbors helping out when they can. It’s just a normal apartment where we get things done.
