You can find Shreee Swaminath Tools & Hardware right in Dhayari, just opposite Sinhagad Road. It’s a pretty busy spot since Sinhagad Road is a major artery, so there’s always a lot of movement. The shop is filled to the ceiling with all sorts of things, from small screws to heavy-duty equipment. We don’t have much in the way of open floor space because we try to keep as much as possible in stock. It might look a bit messy to someone who likes things perfectly aligned, but we know exactly where every single item is hidden. If you ask for something, we can usually dig it out in a minute or two. We’ve been here for a good while, and most of the local contractors and DIY folks know to just head over here when they need something specific. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, so it can get a bit warm, but we usually just keep the door wide open to catch the breeze. We don’t go in for big sales pitches or fancy displays. We just tell people what we have and what it costs. It’s a very direct way of doing things. Sometimes we have a backlog of deliveries to sort through, so there might be crates sitting out front, but we clear them as fast as we can. It’s just us doing our best in Dhayari every day, keeping the place running and getting through the list of things to do.
