We make concrete stuff here at Erandwane Bommasandra 501. Shree Venkatesh Concrete Products Co has been around for a bit, and mostly what we do is pour heavy things into molds. It’s heavy work, and your back feels it by the end of the day. We have all sorts of blocks and pipes sitting around the yard. Concrete is one of those things that people don't think much about until they need it. It’s grey, it’s heavy, and it takes time to dry right. We spend our mornings mixing and our afternoons stacking. The yard can get pretty dusty when the wind picks up. We’re tucked away in Erandwane, and it’s a decent spot for what we do. There’s no point in having a polished office when you’re dealing with wet cement all day. We just focus on getting the mix right so the products don't crack. Sometimes a batch goes wrong and we have to scrap it. That’s just part of the job. People come to us when they need something sturdy for a drain or a wall. We don't do much talking; we mostly just load trucks and check the inventory. It's a simple business. We've got our routine down and we stick to it.
