We keep our records manually for the most part because it feels more reliable to us. People from around the colony drop by throughout the day. Some just come to chat, while others come to deposit a bit of cash they saved up from their weekly earnings. We don't have a fancy uniform or anything. We just wear our regular clothes and get on with the business of the day. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than four people are inside, but we make it work. We like being part of the community here. It’s a basic setup, but it serves the purpose for everyone living near Balwasti and the surrounding Ashok Nagar area. It’s nice to see the same faces every day and hear their stories.
