You can find us over at Magarpatta City in Hadapsar, which is a big township area in Pune. Shree Precoated Steels Ltd is located in the Cosmos building, specifically in unit G-602. Magarpatta is quite different from the rest of the city because it is all planned out with parks and specific zones. It makes for a nice walk to the office, though the security at the gates can be a bit of a hassle sometimes. Our space is just a standard office where we handle the administrative side of the steel business. We have been here for some time now, and we’ve seen the township grow up around us. The office itself is full of binders and old records because we like to keep track of everything on paper as well as on the computer. It is usually quiet inside, except for the sound of the air conditioner and someone typing away. We are a small team, so we know each other's families and what everyone likes for lunch. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just come in, check the orders, and make sure the steel is being handled correctly at the plant. Most of our day is spent making sure the numbers match up. It is a steady way to make a living in a part of Pune that is always changing. Once the work is done, we usually head out and join the crowd at the main gate.
