Shree Krishna Cable Industries

Our workshop is located at F-Ii 20/2 in the M.I.D.C. area of Pimpri. We make cables. It’s a lot of copper, plastic, and machines that hum all day long. The industrial estate here is always buzzing, and we are right in the middle of it. We started Shree Krishna Cable Industries because there was a need for reliable wiring around here, and we just kept going. It’s not a clean-room environment; there are scraps of wire and spools everywhere. We focus on getting the insulation right and making sure the gauge is what it’s supposed to be. Most of our workers live nearby, so it’s a bit of a local crowd. We don't have a marketing department or a sales team. Usually, someone just calls us up or drops by the gate when they need a batch of cable for a job. We’ve seen the industry change, but the basics of making a good wire stay the same. The heat in Pimpri during the summer can be tough in the shed, but we have enough ventilation. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India. We just want to make sure the stuff we send out doesn't fail. It’s practical work. If you come by, watch out for the delivery trucks on the narrow road. We usually have a pot of tea going if you need to wait for a pickup. It’s just a plain, hardworking shop.
