Shree Asapuri Hardware

Our hardware shop is located at 139/A/3 in Bhawani Peth. If you know this part of town, you know it’s where everyone comes when they need to build or fix something. The shop is filled with all sorts of things, from boxes of nails to heavy tools and plumbing supplies. There is a lot of dust here from the metal and wood parts, but that’s just the nature of a hardware store. We have been in Bhawani Peth for a long time. The space isn't very big, so we have shelves going all the way up to the ceiling. We usually have to use a ladder to get things down for people. It’s a busy place, and we are often moving boxes around to find what someone needs. We don't have a computer system for everything; we mostly just know where everything is by memory. It’s faster that way. We get a lot of contractors and local people coming in. Sometimes they just need one specific screw, and we spend ten minutes looking for it. That’s fine with us. We aren't a big chain store, just a local spot where people can get what they need without any fuss. The street outside is always crowded with delivery trucks, so it can be a bit of a mess to get through. But we like the energy of the area. It feels like real work is happening here every single day. We stay open until late evening and then close the shutters.
