Our office is over in Shukrawar Peth, right near Vanraj Mandal. If you know Pune, you know it's a busy area. We deal with building and development. It’s a lot of coordination with workers, architects, and people looking for a place. We spend a lot of time at sites getting our shoes dirty. It’s not like what you see in the brochures. Most of the day is spent handling permits or talking to suppliers about cement and steel prices which keep going up. We've been around this part of town for a bit now. Sometimes things get delayed because of the rain or just general city chaos. We just try to get the walls up and the roofs on. It’s a lot of physical work and planning. We aren't a giant corporation with hundreds of staff. It's just a small group of us here at 497. We see the same neighbors every day. Building something takes a long time and there's always something that goes wrong that needs fixing. We just deal with it as it comes. Usually, someone is always on the site checking things. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just build houses and commercial spots. It’s honest work. Pune is changing fast and we are just doing our bit in our corner of the city. We keep the office simple and focus on the projects we have going on right now. We don't have a mission statement, just a bunch of plans and a lot of hard work to do.
