We are based in Nira, which is in the Purandar area. Our office is actually at H.NO. 592 in the A/P-Niratal section. It’s a local spot where we run SHIVDATTA URBAN MULTIPURPOSE NIDHI LIMITED. Being in a place like Nira, things are a bit slower and more personal than in the big cities. The building is just a regular structure, nothing that stands out too much from the street. Inside, it’s mostly just us and our records. We have a couple of wooden tables and some plastic chairs for visitors. We handle a lot of different things, as the multipurpose name suggests. It’s mostly about helping the people around here with their savings and small loans. We don’t use any big words or complicated talk. We just sit down with whoever comes in and look at the numbers together. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts, so we keep some candles or a torch handy. It’s just how it is in this part of Purandar. The air is a bit fresher here than in the town center, which we appreciate. We spend our days tracking the collections and making sure everything matches up. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
