Kprs Pumps

Our shop is Shed Number 5 in the Anant Industrial Estate. We’re right next to the big Agarwal godown in Shivane, Pune. If you know that area, you know it’s mostly warehouses and small factories. We deal with pumps, all kinds of them. It’s a messy business sometimes, with oil and water and metal parts everywhere. The shed is big enough for what we do, but it gets pretty hot in the afternoons. We spend most of our time repairing old pumps or putting together new ones for local farms and small industries. There’s always a radio playing somewhere in the background, mostly just for some noise while we work. We aren't much for advertising or big signs. Most people find us because someone else told them we know how to fix a pump. It’s been that way for years. We have some heavy tools and a couple of workbenches that have seen better days. It’s a practical place for practical work. When the monsoon hits, the yard gets a bit muddy, but we keep the inside dry and the work moving. Shivane is a good spot for us because it’s close enough to the city but still has that industrial feel where you can get things done without too much fuss. We just keep plugging away, one pump at a time, until the day's work is finished.
