Shivam Arts

We are located at Survey No 196/B near Dr Kalbhor Chowk. The shop sits right on Lal Bahadur Shastri Road, so it’s easy to find if you don’t mind the noise from the intersection. Shivam Arts has been our little project for years. We do a bit of everything here, from hand-painted signs to more modern stuff. The floor is stained with about twenty different colors of paint because we aren't always the neatest when we’re in a hurry. My hands are usually covered in ink or charcoal by noon. The chowk is always busy, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work. We get a lot of dust drifting in from the road, which makes it hard to keep the canvases clean, but we have our ways. It’s a small space, so we have to stack the finished boards against the back wall. Sometimes I have to move five things just to find one tool. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s how we like to work. We don't have any fancy titles or a big staff. It's just a few of us who know how to handle a brush and a ruler. People stop by and ask if we can do something custom, and we usually just say yes and figure it out as we go. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk on most days of the week.
