Ram Ji Enterprises

Our place is right across from Mokha Engineering in Shivaji Nagar. It’s a busy little spot in Anandnagar, Dilsukhnagar, and there is always something going on in the street outside. We have a lot of stuff packed into 363/5. It can be hard to find things if you don’t know where to look, but we know where every nut and bolt is hidden. The shop floor is usually covered in bits of metal or packaging. We don’t spend much time cleaning up until the end of the day because there’s always another job to get through. People stop in all the time looking for parts or just to see if we can help with a quick fix. We keep a fan running in the corner, but it doesn't do much when it’s really hot out. The shelves go all the way up to the ceiling. We use an old ladder that squeaks every time someone climbs it. It’s not a quiet place. Between the traffic and the machines nearby, you have to talk loud to be heard. We handle a lot of different items, so the inventory is always changing. Some days are slow and we just sit by the front door, and other days we don’t even have time to eat lunch until four in the afternoon. It’s just how a small shop like ours works in this part of town. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next person to walk in.
