Shiva Laminates

Shiva Laminates is located at unit 23 inside the B U Bhandari Industrial Estate in Bhawani Peth. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement every morning when the trucks arrive. We stock all kinds of sheets and finishes for furniture and interiors. The warehouse is filled with stacks of laminates, so it smells a bit like glue and wood most of the time. We aren’t a big fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a place where carpenters and contractors come to pick out what they need for their current projects. We spend our time moving heavy sheets around and making sure the inventory matches the books. It’s hard work on the back, but we’ve got a good system going. Bhawani Peth is always crowded, so getting deliveries in and out can be a real struggle sometimes. We’ve been in this estate for years and know most of the other shop owners around here. We don't do much in the way of advertising or social media. We just open the shutters early and wait for the regulars to show up. Sometimes a sheet gets a chip on the corner and we have to set it aside, that's just part of the daily business. We try to keep a decent variety of colors and patterns so people have some choices. It’s a straightforward business, really. We sell the sheets, people build things with them, and we keep going for another day.
