We are out in Manjari at the 3rd Cross in Sapthagiri Layout. It is near the Manjari Farm and Hake Wasti area. Being out here means we have a bit more space for the plants and the dirt. Our boots are usually covered in mud because we are always walking through the rows of pots. It is a lot of physical work digging and moving heavy bags of soil around. We spend most of our time outside in the sun so we are all a bit tanned. The weather really dictates our day. If it rains we have to move certain things under cover quickly. We have all kinds of greenery growing here and it smells like wet earth most mornings. It is much quieter here than in the center of the city which we like. Sometimes we see birds and small animals around the nursery. We are not very good at paperwork because we would rather be working with the plants. Our hands are rarely clean. The layout is still growing so there is often construction noise nearby. We have a small shed where we keep the tools and take our breaks. It is a simple life and we just focus on making things grow properly. People come by from the local layout to see what is new. We just show them what we have and let them decide. It is peaceful work.
