If you are looking for us, you have to head down to the basement of Prajkt Pride. We are in Shop 3. It’s located in Revenue Colony, right here in Shirur. Being in the basement means it stays a little cooler during the hot afternoons, which is nice. We are SHIRUR MERCHANTS ARTHIK NIDHI LIMITED. It’s a simple setup we’ve got going. We have a few desks pushed together and some cupboards for all the records we have to keep. Most of our visitors are local merchants from around the colony who need to sort out their financial stuff. We don’t do anything flashy. There are no big neon signs or expensive carpets here. Just the sounds of the town above us and the occasional car parking nearby. Sometimes the lighting in the basement is a bit dim, but we have enough lamps to see the paperwork clearly. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and going over the accounts with people who stop by. It’s a small community in Shirur, so we usually know the person walking through the door before they even say hello. We keep the doors open during business hours, and there is usually a bit of a breeze if the weather is right. It’s just a normal office where we do our work and try to keep things organized for everyone involved. It gets the job done and keeps us connected to the neighborhood.
