Shekoba Auto Pvt Ltd is located over at C/56 Pashan. If you’ve been through this part of town, you know it can get pretty busy with all the vehicles. Our shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s just a working space with tools and parts scattered around. We usually have grease on our hands by ten in the morning. The floor is stained from years of work and we stopped trying to scrub it clean a long time ago. It’s a place where things get fixed and people talk about engines. We have an old radio that plays local stations in the background. Sometimes it’s hard to hear anything over the sound of a motor running. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or big banners. We just stay here and do the work that comes through the door. Pashan has changed a lot, with more shops popping up everywhere, but we just stick to our corner. It’s a bit dusty and the lighting could be better but it works for us. We drink a lot of chai and wait for the next job to show up. It’s a straightforward way to make a living and we don't try to make it sound like anything else. We’re just here from morning until the sun goes down, mostly dealing with whatever mechanical issues come our way. It's just us and the machines.
