Shashank Phadke

We are based in Pimpri, right on the Mumbai Pune Road. Our office is in the Ion 7 building, specifically units 101 and 201. We are situated right across from Sterling Honda, which is a big landmark in this area that everyone knows. Shashank Phadke is really just about the work we do in design and architecture. We’ve been in this spot for a while. It’s a high-traffic area, so we are used to the noise and the energy of Pimpri. Our office isn't about looking impressive to visitors. It’s a working space. You’ll see a lot of sketches and half-finished plans if you walk in on a Tuesday. We spend a lot of our day dealing with the practicalities of building projects. It’s not always easy. We have to deal with regulations and site issues all the time. We aren't a big company with a lot of different departments. We just handle things as they come. Being on the main road helps because it’s easy for us to head out to different sites around Pune without getting lost in back alleys. We spend a lot of time in the car or on-site wearing boots. When we are at our desks, it’s all about the technical details. We don't go in for big marketing slogans. We just focus on the project at hand and try to make sure everything is solid. It’s a straightforward business.
