Sharvil Paints

The shop is right here on Sinhagad Road, over at 15/A/2 in the Chaturshrungi area. Most days start pretty early because of the traffic out front. We spend a lot of time just moving cans of paint around to make room for people to walk. It isn’t a huge space, but we manage to keep a lot on the shelves. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so there is always some cleaning to do. Neighbors stop by to ask about colors or just to chat while they wait for the bus. It gets a bit cramped when a big delivery comes in and we have to stack everything near the door. The smell of fresh paint is just part of the air here now. You get used to the noise of the trucks going past. We have been in this spot for a while, seeing the buildings around us change. It is mostly regular folks from the neighborhood coming in for a small tin of something or maybe a brush. It is a simple setup with basic counters and a lot of heavy lifting. My hands usually have a bit of color on them by noon. Working in Chaturshrungi means dealing with the heat in the afternoon, but the shop stays relatively cool inside. We just keep things moving, one day after another, making sure the shelves don't stay empty for too long. It is honest work and keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
