Sharp Power Tools

We've been running Sharp Power Tools from the second floor of Gulamali Chambers for a good while now. If you know Raviwar Peth, you know it gets pretty busy around here, especially right across from Darbar Band. Most days it’s just us surrounded by drills, grinders, and boxes of spare parts. People come up the stairs looking for something specific to finish a job or maybe their old machine finally gave up and needs a look. We don't do anything fancy with the office. It's mostly just shelves and a workbench where we test things out. Sometimes the noise from the street is loud, but you get used to it. We deal with a lot of different brands and types of equipment. It’s mostly just making sure folks get the right tool for whatever they’re building or fixing at home or on a site. There isn't much to say about the history, just that we’ve stayed in this same spot and kept at it. Dealing with hardware means your hands get a bit dirty and there’s always a bit of dust around. It’s honest work. If you find yourself in the neighborhood and need a part or a new cutter, you just head up to the second floor. We try to keep the stock organized, though on busy days things can get a bit cluttered. That’s just how a tool shop goes, I guess. We're usually here early until the evening.
