In Pune, our office for Shapoorji Palanji Contracation Ltd is over in the Anand Prakash building in Rangangoan. It is an area that has a lot going on with all the industrial activity nearby. We are right in the thick of it. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some chairs, desks, and a lot of blueprints lying around most of the time. It is a practical space for people who are more used to being out on a site than sitting behind a computer. We spend our hours tracking the progress of different jobs and making sure the supplies are where they need to be. It can get a bit loud outside with the traffic but we are used to it by now. We are just a bunch of regular folks who know how to get things built. We don't really have a philosophy or anything like that. We just look at what needs to be done today and we do it. Sometimes we stay late when there is a deadline but usually we try to keep a normal schedule. The people who work here are local and we know the roads around Rangangoan like the back of our hands. It is just an honest day's work in a busy part of town. We keep things simple and don't worry about the small stuff too much. We just focus on the job and getting home.
