Eminence Interior Collection

Our showroom is situated at No. 37/2 Shop No. 7 on Shankar Seth Road. We are right in the Modi Mension building, which is just beside the Central Bank. It is a busy area of town, and parking is always a bit of a headache for everyone. Inside Eminence Interior Collection, the air is usually thick with the smell of fabric and new wood. We have stacks of rugs and curtains leaning against the walls, and sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to walk. We spend a lot of our time unfolding things and showing people how different colors look under the light. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, moving sofas around or shifting display cases to make things look a bit better. My hands always feel a bit dry from handling all the textiles all day long. We don’t have a lot of fancy staff; it’s just a few of us who know the inventory inside out. Usually, we are busy answering the phone or sketching out ideas on scraps of paper. It is not a polished corporate environment; there are usually half-empty tea cups on the desks and bits of thread on the floor. We stay open pretty late most days because that’s when people finish work and have time to stop by. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized, but we’ve been doing it for a while and we’re used to the daily chaos.
