M Traders

M Traders is a small business we run out of Dhavalgin 430 in Shaniwar Peth. We are located right near Ahilyadevi High School. It’s a very busy part of the city. You can hear the school bells and the kids shouting in the afternoons. Our shop isn't anything fancy. It’s just a ground-floor space with shelves and a small desk where we keep our books. We handle basic trading. Mostly we buy stuff and sell it to local customers who have known us for years. We don't have a big staff. It's just a couple of us doing everything from carrying boxes to answering the landline. The street outside is narrow, so deliveries can be a bit of a nightmare if a truck gets stuck. We’ve been here for quite a while now. We’ve seen the old buildings around us get torn down and replaced with new ones. Our place stays pretty much the same though. We haven't even painted the walls in five years. We are more concerned with keeping the inventory moving. Sometimes the computer acts up, and we have to go back to writing things down by hand. It’s a simple way to live and work. We don't have a marketing plan or a mission statement. We just open the shutters in the morning and see what the day brings. Most of our regulars just walk in and ask for what they need. It’s how we like it.
