Shama Industrial Spring

Our place is at 20 Bhosari Kamat Industrial Complex. We’ve been doing this at Shama Industrial Spring for quite some time now. It’s a basic industrial unit, nothing fancy at all. We spend our days working with different kinds of metal and wire to make springs. The machines have a specific rhythm to them, a lot of clicking and banging that goes on from morning until we close up. Bhosari is a busy area, so there is always a lot of noise from the neighboring units too. We have a few workbenches that are pretty worn out from years of use. There are stacks of metal coils everywhere you look. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If someone comes by, they usually just shout from the door until one of us hears them over the machinery. We drink tea from the local vendor who comes around twice a day. The heat can get pretty bad in the summer, so we have a couple of large fans that mostly just move the hot air around. It’s honest work and we keep ourselves busy. Most of our tools are old but they still work just fine for what we need. We just try to keep up with the orders and make sure everything is sorted out by the end of the shift. It's a bit greasy in here, but that's just how it goes.
