We have been at Plot 5 in Kothrud for quite some time now. It’s not a fancy glass building or a high-rise office; it’s more of a grounded, practical space. We focus on project work, which means there is always something being planned or measured. The office is often filled with the smell of old paper and occasionally some dust from the construction samples we keep around. We have a few large tables where we spread out our plans and diagrams. Kothrud has changed a lot around us, with more shops and apartments popping up every year, but our little plot has stayed much the same. We don’t have a receptionist or a big lobby. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us working at a desk. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or site supervisors. It’s the kind of work that doesn't really have a set schedule; sometimes we are here early and sometimes we stay late to fix a problem. We have a small corner where we keep our boots and safety gear for when we head out to the sites. It’s an honest, hardworking atmosphere. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just take on a project and see it through until it's done. It’s just us, working away in Kothrud, trying to stay organized and keep things moving.
