Saz Boilers

Our shop is down at Plot 44 in the Swami Vivekanand Industrial Estate. Being in Sasane Nagar means there is always noise from other factories around us, but that is just part of being in an industrial area in Hadapsar. We work on boilers, which is hot and heavy work most days. The estate is a bit dusty, and the roads get bumpy when the rain hits Pune, but we’ve managed to stay put here for quite some time. We handle the assembly and some of the repair work right here on the floor. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just metal, pipes, and the smell of welding. We have a small office area where we keep the records, but we are usually out on the shop floor checking on the progress of a build. Sometimes it gets really cramped when a large boiler is being put together, and we have to move everything else out of the way. Our team is small, and we mostly just talk about the jobs we have for the day. There isn't much time for long breaks when customers are waiting for their equipment. We just focus on getting the pressure and the seals right. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. Most people who come here are looking for something specific for their factory. We spend a lot of time welding and grinding metal, so the shop floor is never really quiet. You have to be careful where you step because there are often heavy pipes waiting to be moved. It’s a tough environment, but we take pride in the stuff we build here in Hadapsar. We just keep our heads down and get the work done as it comes in.
