You can find us right behind the Wakad Police Chowky, just off the main Mumbai Bangalore Highway. Being at Bhumkar Wasti means we get a lot of travelers stopping in. Sayyaji Hotel Pune is basically a place for people to get some rest when they are passing through or visiting the city for a few days. The highway noise is always there in the background, but inside, we try to keep things steady. It is a busy operation with guests checking in at all hours and the kitchen trying to keep up with the orders. We have a lot of regular staff who have been here for years, and we all just kind of know our roles by now. It isn't always perfect—sometimes a light bulb goes out or the elevator is slow—but we are always around to get it sorted. Working in a hotel means you never really know who is going to walk through the door next. We have businessmen, families on road trips, and people just looking for a meal. The area in Wakad has changed a lot lately with all the new buildings going up, but we are still here doing our thing.
