Our center is located in Yewalewadi, Pune. We’re in Flat A1 101, right near the Vitthal Mandir at Shree Shrushti. It’s a residential area, so it’s pretty quiet most of the time. Savi Child Development And Research Centre is where we spend our days looking into how kids grow and learn. It’s not a cold lab or anything like that. It feels more like a home. We have toys and books scattered around because children are often here. The research part involves a lot of reading and observation. We’re not a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team of us who care about this stuff. We spend a lot of time talking to parents from the neighborhood. The walk to the temple is short, and we often go there when we need a break. Our office is simple. We have a few computers and some filing cabinets that are getting a bit full. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, but we like it that way. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just look at the data and talk to the families. It’s a very local operation, rooted right here in Yewalewadi. We’re just regular people trying to understand children better. We try to make the space welcoming. Sometimes it’s chaotic when kids are visiting, but that’s just how it goes. We wouldn't want it any other way.
