Our place is in Kothrud, specifically over at Pinnac Garden. The address is A-4 Safal Banglow. It’s a quiet spot in Pune, 411029. We’ve been working out of here for a while now. It’s a housing business, so we mostly look at blueprints and talk to contractors. Satish is usually around, making sure things are moving along. The office feels more like a home because, well, it’s a bungalow. We have tea together in the afternoons when the sun is high. It’s not like those high-rise offices in the city center where everyone is in a suit. We prefer it this way. Kothrud has its own pace, and we fit right in with the neighborhood. Dealing with housing means a lot of phone calls and checking on sites to see if the brickwork is done. Sometimes things get delayed, but that’s just how building goes in this city. We try to be honest about that. People come by to ask about where we are building next. We show them some maps and photos from our folders. It’s simple work but it keeps us busy from morning to night. The garden outside is nice when it rains, and it gives us a bit of a break from the paperwork. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the projects we have in front of us. Pune is growing fast, and there’s always something new to see. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a decent living and we know our neighbors.
