Adesh Enterprises

You can find Adesh Enterprises over on Saswad Road. We are at M. No. 2539 in Uruli Devachi, which is right opposite the Sonai Hotel. That hotel is the best landmark because otherwise, all these buildings start to look the same after a while. The road outside is always busy with big trucks and buses heading out of the city, so there’s a lot of dust that settles on the windows. We have to wipe down the counters every morning before we can even start working. The space we have is quite long and narrow, filled with all the supplies and equipment we need for the day. There’s a small back room where we keep a stove for making tea. It’s nothing special, just a place where we can sit down for ten minutes. The front door is a heavy rolling shutter that we pull up at eight in the morning. Sometimes the mechanism gets stuck, and it takes two of us to get it open. We see a lot of people passing by on their way to Saswad, and occasionally someone stops in because they saw our sign from the road. We don’t spend much on decorating or making things look fancy. It’s a working shop, through and through. We just focus on getting through the list of things to do and making sure everything is where it should be before we close up for the night. The light bulb in the back room has been flickering for a week.
