Shikrapur Sakar is where we have been doing our work for quite some time now. It is mostly about the heat and the hammers here. Sankalp Forgings Pvt Ltd isn't some fancy place with glass walls or carpets. It is a workshop. We deal with metal every day. Sometimes the machines are loud and the floor gets dusty, but that is just how forging goes. People around Shikrapur know where to find us. We mostly focus on getting the shapes right and making sure the pieces are strong enough for whatever they are going to be used for. It is hard work, honestly. We have a small group of people who know their way around the furnace. Some days are longer than others, especially when there is a big order to finish. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing things down unless we have to. Most of what we do is about the physical part of the job. You can see the smoke from the chimneys when we are really busy. It is just a regular factory setup in the industrial part of town. We keep the tools organized as much as possible, though things usually get messy by noon. That is just life here. We don't try to look like anything we aren't. We just do the metal work and try to get home on time. It is a steady business and we are used to the noise.
