Sankalp Flex Printing

Our shop, Sankalp Flex Printing, is tucked away in Maruti Aali over in Kondhwa Khurd. Most folks find us easily because we are right opposite the Shivsena Office. If you know that building, you know where we are. It’s a small place but the machines take up a lot of room. There is always that specific smell of ink and plastic in the air here. We spend most of our time staring at screens or watching the big flex sheets roll out of the printers. It gets pretty loud when everything is running at once, so sometimes we have to shout a bit to hear each other. We started this because there was a need for quick printing in this part of town. We don’t do a lot of fancy talking; we just take the files and get them onto the material. Dealing with deadlines can be a bit of a headache, especially when the power goes out or a machine decides to act up. But that is just part of running a business in Maruti Aali. We see all kinds of people, from local shopkeepers needing banners to guys wanting something for a birthday party. We keep things simple and try to get the colors right. It’s a lot of manual work, loading the heavy rolls and trimming the edges. We are usually here until late evening, just getting the orders ready for the next day. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall nearby and just wait for the prints to finish because the machines take their time.
