Sandvik Mining

We are based in Bangalore, which as everyone knows, is a city that never really stops moving. Sandvik Mining has a presence here, and it’s as busy as the streets outside. The traffic is a constant topic of conversation in the office, especially when someone comes in late because of a jam on the ring road. Our workspace is pretty standard. We’ve got the usual desks, some old computers, and a lot of folders. It isn't a place designed for show. It’s designed for work. People here come from all over, which makes for interesting lunch breaks when everyone shares their food. We talk about the weather or the cricket scores more than we talk about business strategies. It’s just a group of people who know their stuff and get on with it. Bangalore has grown so much, and we’ve seen it change around us. Even with all the new buildings, we just keep doing what we’ve always done. We don't have a lot of corporate talk here. If something needs fixing, we fix it. If a client calls, we answer. It’s pretty simple really. We don't feel the need to dress things up with big words. We’re just a part of the city’s industrial side, working away in our corner of Bangalore. It’s a long day sometimes, but it’s good work with people who have been here a long time.
