You can find us in the Pratik Building, right near the PCMC gardens in Pune. We are specifically located at Jayamala Nagar, in Lane Number 2-A. It’s a decent area, and having the gardens nearby is nice for a quick walk during lunch. We work with textiles here. The building is usually full of rolls of fabric and people coming in to check samples. It’s not the quietest office because there is always something being moved around or someone shouting across the floor about a shipment. We’ve been at this Survey Number 5/2A/18 spot for some time now. Pune is growing fast, but our lane stays pretty much the same. We deal with the day-to-day stuff like billing, checking the weave of the cloth, and talking to transporters. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in textiles that people don’t see. We just sit at our desks, drink our coffee, and try to make sure no orders get mixed up. It’s a simple operation really. No one wears suits here. We just wear what’s comfortable for moving boxes. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit muddy, but we manage. We just keep the business running as best as we can, day after day. It’s a lot of routine, but we like the familiarity of it.
