You will find our little office at Shop No 3, in Building No 19E of Pashchimanagari. We are situated in Kothrud, right at Survey Number 21. It’s a pretty well-known part of Pune, and we’ve been here long enough to see the neighborhood change around us. We operate as a Nidhi company, which means we spend our days talking to local people about their small savings and loans. The shop is quite modest. It’s not one of those big, shiny bank branches you see on the main roads. It’s just a practical space where we can sit down and go through the paperwork with our members. Kothrud is always bustling, and sometimes the noise from the street comes right into the office, but we don't mind it. We don't use any of that corporate talk that sounds like a robot wrote it. We just speak normally to the people who come in. Most of them are our neighbors. We drink our chai, handle the accounts, and make sure the books are balanced at the end of the day. It’s a straightforward job, and we don't try to make it seem like more than it is. We aren't looking to become some massive corporation. We just want to stay here in our shop and keep doing what we’ve been doing for the folks in Pune who trust us.
