Sameer Thakare Architects

We are located down in Shivaji Nagar at the 4th Cross in the 2nd Phase. It’s a busy spot, and finding a place to park can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we like being in the middle of it all. The office is basically just a few rooms filled with computers, large-format printers, and heaps of folders. We spend our mornings going through emails and our afternoons usually involve a lot of shouting across the room about dimensions or site visits. There’s no big corporate vibe here. We just show up, do the work, and go home. You might see Sameer or one of the other guys sketching out an idea on a napkin if they can’t find a proper pad of paper. It’s a bit chaotic when three projects are moving at once, but we manage to keep track of it somehow. The 4th Cross area has changed a lot since we first set up shop, but the way we handle our blueprints hasn't changed much. We still like to see things on paper before they go digital. The shelves are sagging a bit under the weight of old project files from years ago. We probably should clear them out, but they’re good for looking back at how we did things before. It’s just a normal workplace with people who know their way around a floor plan and don't mind the noise from the street outside.
