Universal Instruments

We operate out of Akshay Complex, right by the Thane Janta Bank at Thermax Chowk. This part of Chinchwad is quite industrial, being in the G Block of MIDC. Our plot is G/p-64 in Sambhaji Nagar. It’s a busy area with lots of trucks and workshops nearby. Inside Universal Instruments, the shelves are mostly filled with different tools and measuring devices. It’s a bit of a maze if you don’t know where things are kept. We spend a lot of time checking gauges and making sure everything is accurate. It’s quiet work mostly. The light in the office isn't the best, but we have lamps at our benches. We’ve been in this building for several years now. Most of our neighbors are also in the manufacturing or supply business, so there's a good community feel here. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall around the corner when things get a bit slow in the afternoon. We don’t have a fancy website or a big marketing team. It’s just us answering the phone and writing down orders by hand. The floor is concrete and the walls are a plain off-white. It’s a place for work, not for showing off. If you’re looking for us, just find the bank and we’re right there. We try to keep a decent stock of common items so people don’t have to wait too long. It’s a straightforward way to run a business.
