We are located right on the Pune-Nashik Highway in Chakan. If you’re driving through Rajgurunagar, you’ve probably passed our spot at least once. Being an agency for tractors means there is always something heavy sitting out front. It’s a busy road, so there is a lot of dust from the trucks passing by all day. At Samarth Tractor Agency, we deal with farmers and people who need help with their machinery. Some days it’s just quiet and we sit around waiting for a delivery. Other days, three people show up at once wanting to look at the same engine parts. We have some tools in the back for when things need a quick look. Chakan has grown a lot, but people still need tractors for the fields around here. We try to keep things straightforward. If we have the part, we tell you. If we don’t, we have to wait for the next shipment. It’s a lot of standing on the concrete floor and talking to folks about their land. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the morning. We usually have some tea and talk about the weather since that matters a lot to the people coming in here. It’s just a regular agency life on the side of a highway. We aren't doing anything complicated, just tractors and parts. We spend a lot of time cleaning the grease off our hands before writing down the orders for the new machines coming from the factory.
