We’ve been running Samar Agencies from this spot in Khondhwa for quite some time now. Our office is tucked into Hill Top Heights at Survey No 415, right along Shivneri Lane No 5 in Bhagyoday Nagar. It’s a busy neighborhood and there’s always something going on outside our windows. We aren't some big corporation with hundreds of employees; it’s just a small group of us trying to keep things moving. The office itself is pretty plain. We have some desks, old filing cabinets, and a kettle that gets used way too much for tea. Some days the traffic on the lane makes it hard to hear ourselves think, but you get used to the noise after a while. We handle a lot of different tasks throughout the day, mostly just paperwork and talking to people who come by. We don't have a fancy lobby or anyone to greet you at the door, but we're usually around if you need anything. Living and working in Khondhwa has its ups and downs, like the narrow roads and the heat, but it’s home for the business. We try to be practical about how we do things. We open up early, get through the list of stuff that needs doing, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a regular job for us and we just take it one day at a time without any big fuss or complicated plans. Sometimes the power cuts out in the afternoon, but we just sit and wait it out.
