Sam Manufacturing Limited

Down at Gat No. 343, we have several plots from 13 to 19 where Sam Manufacturing Limited operates. We are out in Village Mahalunge (Ingle), which is right along the Chakan Talegaon Road in Khed. It is quite a large site compared to some of the smaller workshops nearby. Most of our morning is spent walking between the different plots to see how the work is progressing. It gets quite dusty out here with all the trucks moving on the main road, but that is expected in an industrial zone. We have a small office building on one of the plots where we handle the paperwork and take calls. The staff here mostly comes from the surrounding villages, so we all know each other pretty well. It is not the kind of place with fancy glass walls or carpets. It is more about concrete floors and the sound of heavy machinery. We have a canteen area where everyone takes a break around midday to escape the heat. Managing multiple plots means someone is always running back and forth to check on something. We don't really have a polished way of talking about what we do. We just make sure the production lines are moving and the shipments are ready when the transport arrives. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch to the generators, which adds to the noise. It is just the way things go in this line of work.
