Empower Gym Fitness Club

We are located up on the 3rd floor of the Picasso Icon building. It is right across from the Reliance Fresh, so a lot of people use that as a landmark when they are looking for us. Being on the third floor means there is a lot of light coming in, which is nice during the day. Empower Gym Fitness Club is not one of those places with a bunch of neon lights and loud music blaring into the street. It is more of a local spot where people from the neighborhood come to sweat a bit. The equipment is well-used but we keep it all in working order. You can see the parking lot of the supermarket from the front windows. It is usually pretty busy in the mornings before people head to work. We have a small desk near the entrance where we keep the logbooks. The floor has those heavy rubber mats to keep the noise down, but you can still hear the weights clanking sometimes. It is just a regular place to get some exercise. We do not have any fancy juice bars or towel stations. People just bring their own water and get to it. The air conditioner works hard in the summer, but it keeps the place decent. It is a straightforward setup for folks who just want to stay active without any of the extra drama you find in big chains.
