Salim Arts

Our shop is Salim Arts and we’re located in the Chalkewadi Colony, right near the Bank of Baroda in Talegaon Dabhade. It’s a nice enough area where people recognize each other on the street. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we’ve got plenty of stuff packed into the space we have. Most of the time, you’ll find us surrounded by brushes, paint cans, and whatever project we’re currently working on. Being near the bank means there’s always people walking by, so we see a lot of the same faces every day. It’s a local kind of business where we know most of the people who walk through the door. Sometimes we’re busy painting signs, other times we’re doing more detailed art stuff. There isn't really a set schedule; we just work on what needs to get done. The floor usually has a few paint splatters on it, and the shelves are a bit disorganized, but that’s just how we work best. It’s a comfortable place for us. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. People usually just find us because they live nearby or they saw some of our work on a neighbor's wall. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in a town like this and we plan on staying here for as long as we can.
