Sakshi Auto Parts

Our shop is down on the lower ground floor of Jay Towers in Chinchwad, specifically at LG/27. Being in a basement-level spot means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is nice when you are moving heavy metal parts around. The shelves are packed tight with everything from small bolts to larger engine components. It is a bit cramped in here, and there is always a faint smell of oil and rubber, but that is just what an auto parts shop is like. We spend most of the day helping mechanics or car owners find exactly the right part they need for a repair. Sometimes it takes a while to dig through the back of the shop to find an older part that someone requested. Chinchwad is a very busy area for vehicle repairs, so we stay pretty active from morning until night. We do not have a computerized system that does every single thing for us. A lot of it is just knowing exactly where we put things on the shelves over the years. If we do not have a part in stock, we usually know exactly where to go to get it. The lights in here are kept quite bright to make up for the lack of windows, but we are used to that. People come down the stairs looking for something specific, and we do our best to find it. It is a dirty job sometimes, but it is honest work.
