Working out here in the Bhosari Industrial Estate at T-94-95 is a bit different than being in a city shop. It’s all warehouses and big trucks moving in and out all day long. The noise of the machinery is something you just get used to after a week or two on the job. We deal with glass mostly, and that means being careful where you step and how you move things around the floor. It can get pretty hot in the summer months, especially when the machines have been running since six in the morning. We have a small office area tucked into the corner but most of the action happens on the main floor. People here have been around for years, so everyone knows their role without needing to be told much. We drink a lot of water and try to keep the big fans going to stay cool. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit or fancy shoes. We’re usually in boots and heavy shirts because that’s what the work requires. The commute to Bhosari can be a real headache with the traffic, but once you’re inside the gates, it’s just about getting through the day’s production. We don’t have any fancy showrooms here. If you come by, you’ll just see the crates ready for shipping and people working hard. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. Sometimes we stay late when an order needs to go.
