Sahyog Social Empowerment Foundation

Sahyog Social Empowerment Foundation is based out of Pune. We are in Phursungi at Flat No. 402, Samarth Place. The full address involves Survey Number 183/1A - 1B/8A/6. It’s a bit of a mouthful, but once you find Samarth Place, we are right there. The flat serves as our main office. It has that lived-in feel, not like a cold office building. We have some desks set up in the main room and some cupboards for our documents. Pune is a busy city, but Phursungi is its own little world. We spend a lot of time here just going through our tasks. It’s a quiet place for the most part. We don’t have a big budget for decorations, so it’s just plain walls and the usual office stuff. We do our own cleaning and make our own tea. There’s a balcony where we sometimes take a break. We’ve been here for a bit now, and the neighbors in the building are used to us. We aren't looking to be the biggest foundation out there. We just want to do the work we started. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day. We don't have any corporate slogans. Just a group of people in a flat in Phursungi doing the best they can with what they have. That’s about all there is to it for us.
