Our space is at Flat No. 4 in the Dattashram Apartments, which is over on Parvati Road. If you know Pune, you know the Parvati area is a bit of a landmark with the hill and everything nearby. We use this apartment as our base for Sahil Group. It’s a bit different from a standard commercial building because it has that residential feel, which actually makes the workday a bit more relaxed. We have our files and our computers set up where a living room might usually be. The address we use often includes a bunch of details about professional experience and qualifications because that’s the foundation of what we do here. It’s not just a business name; it’s backed by a lot of years spent learning the ropes. We focus on our professional work without much fuss. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep things relatively quiet. During the monsoon, the rain hits the windows pretty hard and we just sit there with our tea and get through the paperwork. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment. We don't have a dress code or anything like that. We just focus on being reliable and getting our tasks finished. It works for us, and being in a spot like 79/B means we are close enough to the main parts of the city but tucked away just enough to actually get some thinking done without being disturbed by the traffic.
