Sahara India Commercial Corp. Ltd. is situated in Rahuri, which is in the Ahmednagar district. Our office is on the Main Road, specifically near the Rambua Mandir. If you ask Amol S. Bhagwat, he can tell you exactly where we sit. Being near the temple means there is always a lot of noise and bells ringing, especially in the mornings and evenings. It’s a very traditional part of town. We are right in the thick of things. The office is a simple room with a door that opens almost directly onto the street. We get a lot of dust from the passing vehicles, so we are always wiping down our desks. We handle a lot of local paperwork and talk to folks from the surrounding villages. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We sit on plastic chairs and use old fans to keep the air moving. Life in Rahuri moves at its own pace, and we follow along with it. We know most of the people who walk past our door. Sometimes they stop in just to say hello or hide from the sun for a minute. We don't have a website or any big ads. We just have our name on the door and our work to do. It’s a humble setup, but it’s been working for us for a long time now.
