Sachin Arts Graphic & Sign Board is located at Plot No. 3 in the Mumbai Heavy area of Aamby, right here in Katraj. We’re pretty close to the D Mart, so it’s a busy spot with lots of cars and people moving around. Our shop is where we do all the painting and board making. It’s a bit of a messy place because we’re always working with paints and brushes. There are signs in various stages of being finished leaning against every wall. We’ve been in Katraj for a long time and have seen it grow. This shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we have everything we need inside. I usually have paint on my hands by ten in the morning. We don't use much fancy technology; it’s mostly hand-eye coordination and some basic tools. Sometimes it takes a few days for the paint to dry properly when the weather is humid. We don't have a secretary, so if we're in the back, you might have to shout to get our attention. People around here know us for the boards we make for the local shops. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just make the signs and try to make them legible. The traffic near D Mart can be a bit much in the evenings, but it brings people past our door. We’re just a local business trying to do honest work for our neighbors in Katraj.
