You’ll find our office on the third floor of the Ranka Estate building in Ranakpur Nagari, right in the Aundh area. It’s office number six. The building is a bit older, so the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is being moody that day, which happens more than we'd like. We do a lot of back-and-forth with shipping documents and customs paperwork, so the desks are usually buried under folders and files. It’s not a very large office, but it fits the four of us just fine. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people in different time zones, so someone is usually here late into the evening. The view from the window is mostly just the other buildings in the estate, but it’s nice to have some natural light coming in during the afternoon. We keep a small fridge for cold water and snacks since the nearest shop is a bit of a walk. Aundh is a busy place, but once you get inside the estate, it’s relatively quiet. We don't have any big corporate logos on the walls, just a few maps and a calendar to keep track of the shipping dates. It’s a simple setup for an export-import business. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. We just want to make sure the containers get where they are supposed to go.
