Rutuja Group

We’ve been based out of Lokmat Bhavan on J M Road for a long time now. If you know Deccan Gymkhana, you know how hectic it gets around here with all the students, shoppers, and traffic. Our office at 1206-42 A is right in the middle of all that noise. Rutuja Group isn’t a massive corporate machine; we’re just a bunch of people working on property and building projects every day. Most mornings start with a lot of tea and checking on schedules to see what needs doing. J M Road is great for food, so we usually end up grabbing something quick from the stalls nearby when things get busy. Being in a landmark building like Lokmat Bhavan helps people find us, though parking is always a nightmare for anyone coming to visit. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or looking over maps and floor plans of the city. The work is steady and it keeps us occupied from morning until late evening. It’s funny how you get used to the constant sound of horns and traffic while you’re trying to focus on drawings. We don’t have fancy lobby music or anything polished like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we get the job done. We’ve seen Pune grow so much from this office window over the years. Sometimes we just sit and watch the rain hit the street during the monsoon. It’s a decent place to work and we’ve made a lot of friends in the building.
