Ruby Pressing

We are located over in the Dandekar Industrial Estate, specifically at No. 36/2. It is a bit of a maze back here if you aren't used to industrial areas. If you know where the Aishwarya Hotel is, we are right behind that. People always mention the hotel twice because it is the biggest landmark around this part of Kondhwa. Also, the Angraj Dhaba is very nearby, and you can usually smell the food cooking from there when the wind blows toward us in the evening. We are close to the power house too, which is another way people find their way to Ruby Pressing. This isn't a huge operation. We mostly handle the heavy pressing machines all day long. It gets quite loud in the estate with all the other units running their equipment at the same time, so you have to speak up. The floor is solid concrete and we have these heavy iron benches for the work. I’ve lived in this area for a long time, so I know all the little shortcuts through the estate. Some people get lost looking for us because there are so many small units tucked away in every corner. We start early, usually before the sun gets too hot, and stay until the evening light fades. The trucks come and go constantly on the main road just outside the estate. It is a gritty place to work but it suits us just fine.
